i called my mom a few minutes ago telling her happy valentines day and that i love her. which is what i tell her every time i call her. that i love her, not happy valentines day.

i ask her if she has plans with my dad and she goes “no im old now. and im eating vegetarian food today, so none of that”. when i was about to hang up after saying bye she says in Vietnamese “its been Valentines day all day and you wait until now to call me?!” and i start laughing cause i heard her and so she started laughing too.

after that i call my dad and i tell him the same. i ask if he got my mom anything and he said he js got her some flowers so i know shes going to be happy (: even though she acts like she dont give a fuck. she really does. 

thats pretty much my Valentines day. im grateful for the love i have in my life and most importantly my parents because no one in the world loves me the way they do. and no one ever can. i guess because Valentines day is so commercialized people feel like they should have someone theyre seeing or in a relationship with for it to be a special day when in reality people should just be thankful for the love they have every day, not just this day. i love love and i think being loved is one of the greatest things in the world and if every day was Valentines day… well i guess thats just my version of a utopia. 

now that im done ranting im gonna go work out. then eat dinner with some people that i adore aka my friends. prettyyy awesome valentines day if you ask me! hope you all are having a great one too (: and if not, remember someone out there loves you!
